I did that the day it reset itself and the only user profile I could find was the one created that day. So bummed. I'll spend some time this weekend going through old emails looking for my docs I'd like to get back.
Doubtful, but I've seen it before - be sure you choose the options to view "hidden items" when you're in that user folder - if you're lucky, the old profile is just hidden...click view / show / hidden files

Buy one of these kits - it essentially turns your hard drive into a USB drive - and then plug it into your desktop and see if it works. If you're luck you'll be able to read the files - sometimes passwords are needed to access, sometimes not - wish I lived closer to you I'd try to help.

That the term 80% / 20% in the workplace is more lie 90% / 10%...It kills me how many people just do the bare minimum and not only get away with it, but go home feeling good about themselves.

Was lucky enough to camp in Glamis over the weekend. Weather was perfect and dunes were nice and smooth.

FWIW you're missing out on a lot of potential knowledge and deals if you don't use Facebook.... It's not just about having "Friends" and posting meaningless information - there's marketplace to buy things, groups to learn, etc. It's a tool to learn things and hunt for deals on items you want to buy.
Example -I'm a member of 4 or 5 C10 groups that have in some cases 40k members...pictures of builds, parts for sale, etc. Found my truck on there for a great deal.

Annually 2 to 4 % otherwise your team is making less money due to inflation and you're basically being greedy (your prices should also be rising / you should be making more too every year relatively). That should be bare minimum even for the worst employees. If your company is having a bad year - tell them why no raise that year and make up for it in other ways.
If they don't deserve that due to performance, then you should be looking to replace them.
Promotions should be every 2 to 4 years depending upon performance with a raise of 10 to 15%...percentage drops as you make more - i.e 10% of a 50k job is only 5k a year and fair for a promo, but at a 150k that's 15k, eventually a promo is in the 5-8ish %.
This is how it seems to play out at large companies at least.
My brother works construction and it's total BS that he has to go and ask for a raise in most cases...that's phycological for some people (not having the guts to ask) - that's why it should be annually without employees needing to ask...we all want and need more and in my opinion you shouldn't have to ask.

After looking at the existing wiring, decided F it - ripped it all out and ordered a new painless kit...Yesterday was the day I realized why people spend way more than they plan on these things...I didnt budget for a 700 painless kit :| - Also ordered a new fuel tank with all items needed for EFI last night- and today going to rip out the old diesel tanks.

@wesinls none of those pictures are working for me.
I've thought about doing the same thing for years, but never pulled the trigger.
Sometimes I can take a screen shot and paste and the site works, then a few hours later it turns to a link...Anyway, this one should work. And me too, been thinking about this for 2 or so years and saw this come up on facebook for a good price. Motor and trans come next week - super pumped, but a lot of work left.

Getting a start on my C10 project. Step one - degrease the F out of the engine bay. Took a long time to even get to this point. Bought the truck in North Carolina and had it shipped - it's a diesel and was able to retain that status here in CA - making the LS swap possible without all the hassles of smog.

Great question.
I prefer a 2 seater so have to convince myself to go with a 4/5 seater. I need doors cause I’m old and fat. I wouldn’t want a PBS trans. Not because they aren’t a good trans but my understanding is parts are scarce or non-existent. I don’t know if I would fit being 6’5” so might need mods for that. And I don’t know what dash or gauges are there or what ecu. That’s just off the top of my head from the info listed in the ad. So what would I spend on this car after buying it? Maybe $50k or more? An S5D is about $18.5k just for trans. An Albins is $35k. I’m looking at cars that are much later model, have all the stuff I’m interested in with Albins trans and are in the high $100k range so like $180k-$190k. For my situation, I would rather spend an extra $20k-$30k and get a newer car that was built with all the stuff I want. I may very well spend a bunch more and build a new car exactly how I want it. I plan to make a decision in the next few weeks so I posted this thread in case somebody has a car that fits the bill and is thinking about selling or planning to sell at end of season.
If you have the $ to get new, do it...Otherwise there will always be something you'll want to change...seats, paint job, lights, etc. You're driving someone else's vision if used. Buying a new high end sand rail would be an awesome experience, if you have the ability to do it - F it, do it. But, either option is a good one - no bad decision no matter which way you go :)

That headwind can be absolutely brutal coming back. Even worse if it’s a crosswind at that speed.
Get any BBQ while there? If not, prayers sent.
No - fast food only unfortunately, Drive took a lot longer than expected. Sucks, I was looking forward to that place you suggested...but didnt get into El Paso until 10pm

Washes for me - Totally F'd up that I go to Gecko on an off weekend - Friday, get there at 1PM and there's no spots. Am I jealous, yes - but also kind of douchee to have people take up space when they are not even there- seems like they all have at least one retired buddy who watches all the rigs.
Washes - always a spot available. Gecko also felt a bit Orange county to me - small tight shorts and flat bill dudes...50+ trying to look 25...too cool for me.

Going off what GM did in the performance packages...
Stockish LS3 2400-2800
Closer to 500hp and above 3000k+
My brother did the "connect and cruise" 525/LS3/6L80 in his C10. Rips!
Funny you mentioned that - after your question i remembered that they make a connect and cruise for the LS3/525 - and the converter on that combo is 3000-3400, seems like an easy decision - use what Chevy provides on that combo.
