I would think long and hard before you delete it. I bought a 2014 F350 for my daughter that is deleted. It has been a total PITA. I wanted a second key as it only came with one. Can't get a key programmed as everyone is afraid if they try it it may cause the computer to revert back to it's stock flash and then I'm SOL since all the stuff has been removed. Had a few other electric glitches with TPMS, Oil change indicator, etc and same story. Can't do anything for fear the truck won't ever run again. I'll never own another truck like this, just not worth it. Don't get  me wrong, I'm not suggesting I'm a fan of all the crap they put on the trucks now but if you go changing it better know what you are in for.

the difference is if you are the one doing the delete you know what was done and have the old parts. when your out of warranty and your looking a bill north of 7k from the dealer for a DPF it hard not to just delete it. a few hundred for a pipe or you can gut the filter and about 1000 for a good tune. i don't understand why they would be worried about the computer reverting back when you flash a ecm the tuner usually saves your original configuration and overwrite a new file on you ecm. so actually i don't think there is anything there for it to revert back on. my 2011 gmc was done with a mini max best thing i ever did almost doubled my fuel mileage

  2. on semi trucks they can clean the filter burn it out in a oven. also the make some chemical cleaners and the can be power washed out. not sure if this is a option on a f350 because the filter itself might be removable. i guessing the bad egr valve caused the filter to clog.

i had a cat 336 excvator not go into regen and went to 125 percent and would not allow a forced regen i blew it out like a air filter with compressed air which lowered the back pressure enough the force a regen been good ever since a year ago. good luck

  3. left work early that day to work on a truck for a company i was trying to call him on a cell phone and couldn't get the phones to work. ON my way home i was in Highlands NJ going over the bridge could see crazy amounts of smoke rising from the city and put the radio on and learned about the attack. when i got home put the tv on and started watching and the second plane went into the other tower. then i went up to the golf course next to my house which has a good view of NYC and just watched for a while. a lot of people were up there trying to get a hold of friends and family.  it was crazy how bad the phones failed took the rest of the day to get ahold of a friend that worked for the city to make sure he was alright.  something going on in newark airport today with a suspicious package delayed and canceled a bunch of flights.

  5. most auxiliary and transfer tanks are not baffled. to be honest the tank doesn't have much height to it so i don't think you would even notice it with or without baffle's. most toy haulers have similar size water tanks not baffled and the black and grey are not baffled i think you are just worrying a little to much. if its a problem just fill the tank and empty any leftover fuel into the tow vehicle and toys for the ride home.  also if your mounting it in the middle of the trailer the main weight transfer would be front to back which would not transfer weight to one side and back which would be the only stability issue with sway

  6. i used one online i think it was pioneer 36k condensor and two 18k celing cassets  they fit in the celling if your joists are on 24 inch centers    https://www.pioneerminisplit.com/collections/pre-made-multi-split-kits/products/dual-zone-36000btu-wall-wyt   it is way oversized the garage is 24x28 12 ft celing hight. the garage is detached and well insulated just wanted to be able to turn it on and have it cool in 30 minutes or less came precharged and everything was single flare  no soldering. just had to vacuum the lines

  7. not trying to change the subject but   bel ray was originally from farmingdale NJ just a few miles from me we used to go there and get stuff pretty cheap that was at least 10 years ago.   since the i was told the kids got the business and sold it off so who is the parent company now

Flip the main off and back feed the panel from your geni through a breaker.

that what i do but we only lose power when we have big storms every few years.  do a sub panel with a transfer switch or a whole house transfer switch with a big generator if you lose power frequently just makes it easy for any to get the power back on
