Up in mammoth for the weekend. Took the kids skiing for the first time yesterday. If they aren’t too sore we will go for day 2 today.

Both sides will tax the hell out of you. The Trump tax cuts didn’t do anything for me. I ended up paying more because I had less to write off. Hazards of a w2 middle class worker.

Season didn’t really get into full swing for us until December. Both of my boys play tackle football so weekends are shot for the first half of the season. But we made up for it in the latter half. Top takeaways for the season was the buggy treated me very well all year. And both my boys 9 and 11 are able to ride their quads all in the big dunes from sunset to olds to brawley slide. 

Celebrated my St. Pattys day baby’s second birthday out in glamis. 

I’ll be out there tomorrow. I wish the Moty ride for me was free. 

I think the s&s is a better buy if its the same power plant and trans.

This was the closest I’ve ever got. I was playing by myself so I guess it’s good it didn’t actually go in. 

Played a little basketball and lifted some weights at the gym with my 11 year old. Monster jam tonight. My toddler loves monster truck videos so I hope he loses his mind seeing it live. 

I don’t know if the new hand helds that rugged sells are baofengs still. I couldn’t find them on Amazon.

Depends on what your group has. If they are new and just bought a bunch of rugged stuff recently then they use gmrs. You will want to have the same stuff as your usual dune group. 

I wear redwings daily. Usually get about 5 years out of them. I pick the lightest boots possible that fit the company requirements. But I have to walk up a lot of stairs. 

On a busy weekend is the dust in the camping areas similar to camping near vendors in glamis?

Reviving this thread… thinking about making a trip out to Dumont in the very near future. Where should you camp with a giant motorhome that can’t afford to get stuck?
