That's the problem with 'actual' juicing... your muscles grow faster than your tendons can handle.

... As far as the razor with one arm... eh... too much work, would be driving too slow.. having it all brought home after I'm back from my trip.

    Thanks for the well wishes!

    Peace out!

That's exactly why they preach stretching before and mainly after lifting.  Most people don't do it, athletes know its a must to prevent injuries.  Dudes on Tren, TRT and anobol not so much :-)

    Get well soon !

I do love all the Pad's excitement, it is good for baseball and SD.  Filling seats is only a small portion of the revenue.  And when you don't own the Stadium, parking or concessions, it is even smaller.  TV money is the key to revenue for all teams, then filling the seats.  I do hope you are right, and fans keep coming out to the games, but in the past SD fans have a tendency to lose excitement for their teams quickly.

One thing I don't understand, is when you go to Tijuana or south in Baja, the locals are never sporting Padres gear, always Dodgers.............this is the market this team needs to focus on, lots of money there.  You must expand your fan base to make money.  Hopefully putting a consistent winning team on the field will do so.

Seriously? Guess you dont know as much as you think about baseball, that's the easiest question ever, his name is  Fernando Valenzuela.  That Post Season beat down from the Padres obviously still has you seeing RED.  As it should !

You talk about other teams but we cant, Ok, Got it.  LMAO!

For years, The Padres have been complaining about the Dodgers buying division titles, now it is the Padres doing it.  The Pads have to win the World Series in the next two years, or this is all a bust. This franchise will be in last place 5 years from now, with big contracts that they will have to pay.  Farm System is gutted, signing these long term contracts for big bucks isn't good for the long term.

I just don't get the Bogaert signing, he is going downhill in Avg, HR, and defense. He also is going from a small ballpark to a large one, he will be lucky to have 5 HR total next year. Signing him to a long term contract is going to backfire.  I truly think the Pads just signed him so SF or LA didn't.  LA always does this, they are rumored in all trades and signing, they do this so other teams overpay.

Padres are now the Yankees of the West, huge Payroll with no direction.

Xander hit .307 last yr and I disagree he is going downhill, look at his stats.

Carlos Carrera just signed 13 yrs 350 mill, he will also be 41 at end of contract, no trade, no opt out.  Padres have an owner with money now, this is sustainable as he has been preaching.  SF and NYM have spent way more than SD in the off season.  You should be way more worried about the direction of Yore Dodgers, traded top 2 prospects for Trea and Sherzer, how did that work out ? And they have done nothing this offseason with players happily walking away from that organization.

Rumors out there that Tatis is being shopped out there in a trade??

I  see the rumors and believe its a huge joke, Tatis isn't going anywhere.

Meanwhile I am hearing that Gavin Lux will play SS for the Dodgers this year ...................Hmmm

No clue, it won't be Carlos Correa.  It's being said they want to get under the luxury tax threshold this year and are going to back up the Brinks Truck for Shohei Ohtani next year . . .

Agree, they dont want that Cheater on their team for good reason.  Word on the street is the Dodgers cant win with a stacked line up, so they are going to try with a mediocre line up next year.   Looking forward to spring training already !

    11 years and $280 million for a 30 year old  Xander Bogaerts ?  ?

    YES SIRR!

    2X WS WINNER

    4X SILVER SLUGGER

    4X ALLSTAR

    CAREER .292 AVG

He is a great addition to the team, we will get at least 5 good years out of him and can trade him anytime we want.

Who is playing SS for the Doyers next year ? Seems like no one wants to play there, Anderson, and Trea walked away from that team.

  7. The transfer portal is already going crazy, 4 and 5 star kids want to play for him and that's what will change the program.  He definitely made the move so his son can play QB at a bigger school.  Time will tell how good of a coach he really is, we know he has the locker room speeches down.  I enjoy listening to him speak, minus the bible thumping.

one of my fondest memories was taking my boys to the winter nationals & telling them when these nitro cars come by the whole building/stands/track/road shakes.  I got the "dad your full of beans" look, until the first car went down........  LMFAO.

second was in the pits as they were fixin to fire up a funny car after rebuilding the motor.  the boys wanted to be "right up front".  I said "stand back here, trust me you WILL be able to see".  sure enough they fired the car up everybody standing @ the rope took off for the hills & we had a front row seat.  :classic_cool:  good times!!!!

Had the exact same experience with my wife and son,  The look on there face after the first run they saw was Priceless!

That's a Choketober list for LA!! :classic_laugh:  2022 Eliminated by little Brother in the first round:classic_laugh:

Funny shiz!   Every single team deals with injuries, that's exactly why the Dodgers cant win a real WS in 162 game season.

Sheesh!  1988 was a LONG time ago, BTW, Padre fans are very aware that we have never won, that doesn't mean we cant talk smack when we bounced your wanna be Dynasty 111 win team in the playoffs.  Glad you are happy with your Doyers getting eliminated every October.   Maybe next year :classic_tongue:

"Always", people that say any team in Baseball is a choker have no idea how hard it is to win in baseball.  Padre fans got their real first taste of playoff baseball since 1996.  The game is so mental when you get this far, it is more than just hitting and catching, but let me digress, only losers call other teams chokers :classic_biggrin:

Next year the Padres will be considered favorites, virtually everyone is coming back (along with the 3rd highest payroll in baseball).  After next year, the firesale will begin, they better win it all or they are just chokers............haha j/k

The Dodgers are considered Chokers for doing the same thing every October with what is usually one of, if not the best teams in baseball, so that's where that comes from. Don't take it personal.   As far as baseball knowledge goes, 95% of baseball is mental, and any baseball guy knows that.  I have played/coached and been around the game my entire life.   Padres were in the playoffs in 2006, WS 98,  and as a Padre fan you think I dont know hard hard it is to win ? Now That's funny!  Common man !  The Astros will be tuff to beat

I read an article a couple weeks ago that addressed all the extra regulatory requirements that the current administration have imposed on the oil industry, from pulling oil out of the ground to refining and transporting finished product. It is quite burdensome and expensive, which is the goal.

One of the requirements was lowering benchmarks where carbon credits need to purchased to offset emissions during the refining process, which is adding to the increase in price of the finished product.

You can't compare the price of a barrel of oil to the finished product without considering the how the regulatory requirements have influenced the cost of producing that product.

Can you post said article, I'm curious to see what all the extra regulatory requirements are that the current administration have imposed on the oil industry.

  12. This thread is about MLB,  But since you brought up the Raiders, Terry Bradshaw Sums up Raiders Nation.

Terry Bradshaw returns fire at Long and Raiders fans

“We went — fans went from Oakland to Los Angeles back to Oakland now to Vegas. We're the Southwest Raiders. We're a national team.” “It's amazing how people love losers, and that's what the Raiders have been for a long time,” Bradshaw fired back.

    GO PADRES !!!!!!

  13. Way to Make History LA!  Congratulations!!

That made the Dodgers the first team in MLB history to win at least 110 games but not reach the Championship Series.

In Game 2, the Dodgers became the first team in MLB history with three home runs, at least 15 baserunners, all nine starters to get on safely, minimum of eight players in the lineup to collect a hit, and have a man reach in every inning but only score three runs in a regular season or playoff game.

  14. Made my first trip ever to Dodger stadium last night, whole family was sporting Padres gear.  An experience that will last a lifetime, one of the best games I have ever witnessed.  It sure does make me appreciate having Petco park in my backyard, that stadium shows its age for sure.  Also going to the 2 home games at Petco and I like our chances.

    Go Padres !!!!

  15. I was looking for the old LA thread but couldn't find it.

Are Dodger fans confident that they will beat up little brother like they have all year, or is their some concern that Choketober is in the air ?   All the pressure is on LA, they haven't won since 1988 and have had some of the best regular season teams in the last 5 years.  What you say fellas ? And No, 2020 doesn't count !!! :-)  October Baseball is the BEST!
