If it makes you feel any better, my ad looks like chit too. I’m likely going to get my detailer out to make it look like new and then I’ll get new photographs and repost.

Hey, did you ever solve your shock noise issue?

Take it and move on. Peace

Yup, I'm asking $35k for my identical 2021 RZR, so I'd be satisfied with $35k.

And when I say identical I truly mean it, .. every aftermarket item on the 21 is the same as what was on my 19 that burned, same make/model, etc. Only differences were the year and hours/miles.

  3. Insurance agent said they were just looking at original purchase price (of $25k) and not all my receipts (that I GAVE them) for aftermarket. Total of over $65k in receipts, but some of that is maintenance/repairs. Should know more in a day or two... then it's on to what they want to give me for the WW.

as this is 100% not your fault and the liability should be on the repair shop i would talk to your agent about that and at least get your deductible back from them. you may be able just file the claim against their garage keepers policy rather than going thru your insurance. i had got bad diesel from a gas station and it wiped out the fuel system the dealer would not fix under warranty 26k in repairs i got in touch with the gas stations insurance the paid the claim no problem might be worth a try not using your insurance.

State Farm insures me so they should pay me (and have offered to). If Rick's RV is at fault State Farm can go after them, shouldn't be my problem IMO.

Did you have the propane tanks turned off when you delivered it,  Did they touch the propane system,

If they dont step in with there insurance,  a Lawsuit might extend to, Ricks RV,  Refrigerator company might be in a deposition on install,  But the issue with a Lawsuit, is WW is out of business, so no one to go after,  best bet is to work it out with the RV insurance.

Propane was closed off as all I kept getting was the CHECK light in the days prepping the WW prior to the festival. The festival only had shore power (no other hook-ups), which was fine for us. Yes the RV shop touched the propane system, that was the reason I had it there.

  6. I think my insurance will go after the insurance for Rick's RV Trailer where this happened. After attending that metal PowerTrip festival, I dropped it off as the fridge would only work on shore power, not propane. They were repairing/testing the system when it went up. 99% sure they caused it.

Fortunately this didn't happen with any of us inside as I don't think we would have made it out.

  7. After speaking with the adjuster (and making this post), I called my agent and he's 'on it.' At first he was giving me the 'aftermarket you don't get full pop for it' schtick, but then I explained how much I actually spent. I have $65k in receipts, now that also includes repairs and maintenance, but likely have $50k+ in 'value' in the machine. He then said, well maybe they were only looking at original purchase price,.. which was $25k.

Anyhow I'm giving him a shot at getting this fixed before I make any additional moves.

Thanks for all the advice and inputs. Will update this thread after I hear from him.

    Sincerely,

  8. Word,.. fortunately ABC doesn't need to sell. I'm sure there's a 'floor', but minus that, I can keep it.

As I may have mentioned (in a previous post), I'm going BIG once I sell it. We're talking Class A, stacker and an SCU S4S 415ci+ stroker with whipple .. and my current idea is to have my 2nd sand car be a light nimble 2 seater with a crazy HP/weight ratio.

My old plan was 2 identical SXSs (which I had).. then that got burned up.. literally.. and I realize that we just don't do enought dirt/rocks to make the SXS's worth it. I'm basically a 'sand guy' and want 2 badass sandcars.. We can do Glamis 6 months and venture to the other sand states for 10-14 day trips on the other.

    Thanks Crusty.

PS. I'll need help when I look for my Class A. I know HP will need to be a factor towing a double loaded stacker.

  9. A duner is someone who gets 'lost' .. mentally in the dunes.. the transitions.. the beauty.. he rides without fear or aprehension. He knows when it's time to boogie .. and when it's time to sit and enjoy the dunes.. a duner will always help a fellow duner, .. be it a bottle of water, serious first aid or just general getting un-stuck or mechanical help.

A duner LOVES and respects the dunes. .. is looking always to share their knowledge and love for the dunes to the newbies. .. a duner has patience and wants to leave the 'dunes' better than when he came.

Although I've been a 'sawed off prick' at times over my duning time.. .over the last 40 years of duning....  I feel I've been a true duner more than a McPenis....(you can be the judge of that)... In short, I sock it up to age and experience ... plus...  I'm still not dead.

Dune and may Slappy set you free!

  10. I've listed on some FB forums.. and of course here, but no bites. Any suggestion on where to list this? Should I pay for an add on racedesert? ... Just dumbfounded I haven't even had a low ball offer.

Appreciate any help. Side note, looks like I should be hearing from insurance soon on my burnt WW and SXS.

    Thanks,
