  1. Age is real....catches up to all of us....storing the 5th wheel at Dunes Edge is really nice...makes the drive home less stressful. We don't do night rides and a nice hot shower before bed makes all the difference for myself.

  2. Went from a 600 HP SCU to a 2020 Can AM X3 Max....full King Suspension, KWI Clutching, Whalen Speed 235hp programmer and the list keeps going:makerain:....fun to drive but I felt I had the pedal floored all of the time looking for more, thought I would take it other places and honestly I love the Dunes.....sold it and back in to a 500Hp SU and couldn't be happier! :dude:

With that said, I did it backwards, had I never owned a big HP LT Rail I believe I would be happy to still own my Can AM.....I do think the new Pro R is legit....but I still wouldn't call it a Rail!! :emo1:

I've had great experience with neiko and tekton. Tekton is an American brand with lots but not all of their tools made here. Their reputation is growing fast so amazon is out of stock for lots of their tools.

Forgot about Tekton, good stuff as well.

  4. Going to look into Starlink as well. My company pays for our home internet service so adding just the RV option and with the ability to turn it off when not in use makes sense for me. When I am not traveling for business, I work remote so I can go to G early in the week to get a camp spot on Gecko and just work from my RV during the day....as G fills up it does make it difficult on Teams calls etc.

  5. 5th wheel all day long....they pull better / safer, you get a great bedroom for you and the Mrs, no distribution bars to mess with just hook up and roll. And buy bigger than you think you need.....never fails...."should of bought the next size up"

  6. RTIC Coolers are about half the price of YETI with the same performance. The new 52 QT. Ultra-Light is legit.

I use the RTIC 52 Ultra-Light for my food and the regular RTIC 45 for Drinks. I store my trailer @ Dunes Edge so it takes a while for my fridge to cool down enough for food (usually the next morning) and I use the re-usable RTIC Ice Packs for my food cooler.....I've never had my food go bad in my RTIC.

  7. All BS.....how much solar energy has been added to CA in just the last 5-years....and yet they still scare everyone with rolling blackouts...all by design to keep KW hour cost soaring.
Friend of mine does work for SoCal Edison....those MOFO's spend money like it grows on trees!

Keep voting DemocRat folks....nothing gets better!!

  8. Many great suggestions already mentioned. We usually stop in Idaho Falls and hit the Super Walmart for last minute grocery needs and fresh produce. Bring your dirt tires and hit the trails....beware the Ice Caves while trail riding....meaning don't fall in....explore them for sure! Rexburg will be the nearest town and will have just about anything you need...last year we brought our golf clubs and hit some local links...and found some cool places to fish...but didn't catch much.

    Enjoy and safe travels!

  9. I've worked in the Oil, Gas & Chemical industries for over 33 years, we do it the safest, cleanest and most efficient in the world....everything you are in close contact with while reading this....Oil was involved in making it happen.....we (just the US) have hundreds of years of resources and that's just with the technology today.....the same people bitching about the cost of gas are usually sipping a Starbucks....how much for a gallon of Starbucks coffee that is 97% water folks!!?

We absolutely should utilize cleaner resources for energy....but do it with common sense....the world doesn't run on Unicorn Piss and Fairy Farts!

  10. I had a Big Bro...in fact the 2nd to last one ever built for 12 Seasons....the car was awesome! If you set up the car correctly meaning Air Pressure and Suspension dialed in they all will slide and drift. I never used my turning breaks and could turn on a dime! It handled the big whoops and big jumps with ease. You won't be disappointed in any year of version of a SCU!
