  1. I retired for the last time last April.  Since moving to CO, I really haven't been able to get to the dunes much.  My BIL lives in the LA area and has been returning to the dune for the past few years.

I had a decision to make on Halloween, dunes, or hunt.  I went to the dunes and had a great time.  And, the hunting worked itself out the next week.

Then, Thanksgiving, New Years, President's Day all solo, from my area.  Then, mid-March a family get together and it blew like crazy.  I took 2 of the daughter's BFs out, and for once a trip to the hospital was not involved (now 2 for 4 on that).  The wind....the dunes were like the beach when the tide goes out smooooooth.

    5 trips....excellent.

  2. This sounds a bit excessive and unreliable....

    1 RZR secondary.
    1 rzr primary.
    5 rzr belts.
    1 rzr transmission.

I really hope nobody burns for eternity.

I have to agree with you.

Although, there was a heap of evidence (like DNA) against him.  I think that if half of his history, after the incident was known, things might have been different.

Funny thing is that 2276 Pauter motor 900 lb Fibertech / Mazzone car would beat most any modern day sxs or even  most v8s nowadays. In a smooth drag race.

I don't have any problem believing that.  Everytime I see an old school V-Dub running w/a pack of cars, the V-Dub is just putting a long effortlessly.

  5. OH....and when I ride it, I don't have any trouble keeping up w/a group...although, when they hit a steep hill, I have to go around.

And, that "Good Luck" meant, hope you find it, not you don't have a chance.

  6. Good luck.  I have one, they are an excellent bike.  Last trip, my daughter's boyfriend learned to ride on one.  By the end of the trip, he was shooting the big bowls.

Prior to welding a nut on,  drill a hole through the center of the bolts like you're going to use an extractor.  This will relieve stress on it.  Allowing room for the bolt to "shrink" inward after it cools from the welding.  It might even be enough to get the bolts to let go..

Sometimes it helps to use a reverse drill bit on that.

  9. Well....what happened was, we think, is that, when he earlier rolled his ATV, the air box came off.   He carb was stuck at WOT and.it wouldnt run.  The carb was full of sand.  It is running now, and is a testiment to Honda.

We just got back from a killer ride.  We pulled off because of blowing sand.

This is the Sand Highway....nary a track

  10. We are now at Buttercup.

To say that the wind is blowing is an understatement.  We went out last night and this morning...

Not a track or a rut anywheres.  Tbe places that the "Other.Guys' have usually rutted up are now beau-ti-ful.  You have to watch out up near the rim of a bowl as you will get blasted AND we.have found some dips that we couldnt see, due to the dust.

My B.I.L rode my Warrior this am and swore that it was running like crap, we just had to take the carb apart.  I think that it runs worse now.

This afternoon. We went on a ride and one of the bikes broke.  It came back on a rope behind my Warrior....1

Nobody got hurt, and some great times were had.  1,000# Nylon Fish.Tape barely cuts it as a tow.rope.

Now, if the wond is calm tomorrow.

    The verbena are in bloom.

Notice the flags...straight out when it is sitting still.

One other camp, and no Rangera

  11. I'm sorry.  It looks like a plywood camper-shell that Billy-Bob made or a car that he had, that was totaled, that still ran good, and he was able to fix it.

  12. Most excellent.

I'll look at Gas Buddy for the prices.  Right now, Regular is about $3 here.  Central-UT is a bit cheaper.   Tis much easier to buy gas as I wheel in to town.
