  1. I have been working for this day many years! I watched family members and friends die with nothing to show for it. We made some good investments and because of that and some things that will come in later, we are going to fine. Were not rich, but at the same time we're going to be able to pretty much do what we want, when we want and for as long as we want...as long as we watch what were spending.

  3. It's time for me to call it a day and move on! I've been working since I was around 12...I'm 62 now...so I think 50 years is enough! We bought a new motor home and we plan to wear it out!! LOL!! We're gong to see the country and beyond! Here's to the next adventure!!
  4. We bought a new 2022 Renegade Verona super C back in January and didn't get it until July. Never thought we could afford new but we got a great deal through Sport Truck RV of Fontana. We got everything we wanted including lithium batteries and solar! It's totally set up for dry camping in Glamis with 150 gallons of water! We did have to wait 6 months to get it!
  5. I was able to see them a few years ago in Laughlin and we in the front row! One of the best concerts I ever saw!! RIP Dusty
  6. First, congratulations for getting the the hell out of here! I had mine built a couple of years ago when things were a little less crazy. It's 50'x60'x18'. It did not take long to fill it up! I still had to add a RV garage to make some room! A couple of things I would suggest is: 1) put in a storage loft if you can, it will save you lots of room in the end. 2) if your going to store an RV, put in at least 2 50 amp receptacles. 3) If your going to do any work on vehicles look around for a used car lift. The one I have is a 11,000 lb lift that I bought from a guy that just wanted to get rid of it. I paid $1000 for it and I use it all the time, it will save your back! Good luck!
  7. So the wife tells me last year she want's a new motor home. What do I say to that?? Of course I said OK!! We have had a 06 FunMover on a Kodiak chassis with a 10ft garage for the last few years and it's been good to us. But we are getting older and we were looking for a bit more comfort. The garage is great for hauling the Harleys all over place and no trailer. But it was time for a change. We really like the super C motor homes and we looked at several. I really liked the Show Hauler's and the Renegade's because of the way they are built and people seem to just love them. We decided a 2022 Renegade Verona 40VRB was right for us. It's on the Freightliner M2 chassis with the 8.9 Cummins and the Allison 3400 6 speed trans. The coach is 40 ft long and has a bath and a half...that's what sold me! Totally set up for the desert...150 gal of water...75 gray and 75 black. It has solar and lithium batteries...so it's all electric and no propane...that's going to take some getting used to! We went to the factory in Jan to see how they are made and we were totally impressed! It did take 6 months to finally get it our hands! No garage...way out of our price range! That Ok we'll manage! Looking forward to spending a lot of time in this thing and especially spending time with my wife!
  8. Pulled the trigger on a 2022 Renegade Verona last January and I'm supposed to have it delivered in about 2 weeks...( the picture is what it's going to look like) We are coming from a 06 Fun Mover with the 10 foot garage. We have had high end pushers in the family for years and to tell the truth I was never that impressed. I always liked the way a truck drives and I like the engine in front of me. There are pro's and con's to each and you have to decide what you can and can't live with. I'm looking forward to making new memories with the new coach! First trip is going to Sturgis SD for 3 weeks in August! The only reason were moving on is we are looking for a little more room and my wife wanted something new! 🙂 And if anyone is looking the Fun Mover will be for sale at the end of august!
  9. I was nerve a Jeep guy...until I was!😆 Started with a stock 2021 JLRU back in Oct and kind of went crazy! Just ask my wife! Metalcloak 2.5 game changer lift and skid plates, King shocks, 37" BFG KO's, Method wheels, Poison Spyder bumpers, Baja Designs lights...and the list goes on and on! It's getting re-geared next week.
  10. Let me put it to you this way. Every time we talk to our insurance co we hear this..."Wow...you really have a lot of vehicle's". 🙂
