  1. i have a custom project i would like to do

2023 KTM 1290 super duke GT  it has large built in front amber blinkers.  LED.  the blinking duty cycle is about 50% so that works great for the new changes i want to do

i want to now run them as daytime running lights and then have them blink "off" (instead of on) via the original ecu blinker signal

so the transistor needed would allow current to flown (complete the daytime running mode) unless it sees a signal from the blinker to "blink off"

i will post the schematic of current set up and how i think it would be wired.  i just need to know what transistor to buy and how to wire the transistor in.

    thanks for your help

  2. My number 2 guy is generally so close that he 100% has to trust me (we have been duning for years) that he knows im not slowing down, he knows what i can plow through, he knows how i think.  he has to stay the course too  10 feet to the right or left of me could be bad.  if i stuffed it, there is no communications that could work  he is already in the air before i land.

    I love that!

I have a buddy who likes to be ride right behind me - I'm always worried he's going to slam into me.  I don't know why he and others like to be so close - to me it takes the fun out of driving...I'd rather watch the leader and pick slightly new lines if needed, plus no need to eat each other's sand....but to each their own - glad everyone is OK.

Why do people who like to drive so close to each other enjoy it? I'm curious to know the reasoning. Makes it more like you're racing?

when you have a good fast leader, the ride is so fast that if you stayed back any further then "you" become your own leader and fall behind. also when #2,3&4 follow that close they get a good feeling for what #1 is feeling, if not then they get a substantially slower dune experience

glad all were safe and were driving soon!

would you reduce that down to something I can understand???  LOL

Now pretend this is a double lemon pie………2/8 would not work here because then the orange piece would be two pieces and you would have to share the other,  when you have a true 1/4 piece it’s all yours!  Is that easier to understand?  Also in this example a mechanic could use the crescent wrench as a spoon as long as it was set to zero

I finished up my Garage a couple of years ago & thought I had a thread on there, but maybe that was pre-Crash....

in any case, I have a basic 2 car garage that had cabinets in the back & the wall on the house side was finished.  I wanted to brighten it up a bit with some paint, insulate the last 2 open walls & then drywall in those same 2 walls.  I also removed the slats in the overhead & put in some plywood, but painted the bottom sides to reflect the light down into the garage.

I opted for a bunch of LED lights that have switches on each light so I can turn on or off lights as I want.  I got them from Amazon & they have been pretty robust.  none have gone out in 4 years & they are on a lot.

When you first meet the new girlfriend's family and say (out loud mind you) that if we stay together you will never see your Daughter on Thanksgiving, ever... They thought I was absolutely kidding...hahahahahahaha, We have only had Thanksgiving with our "dune family" the last 14 years!!

that worked for me for about 20 years,  every T-day in the dunes, then my kids had kids, familes of their own, not a lot of extra money or toys.  they all still love the dunes and make it out for a few T-days. but after that 20 year "Thanksgiving in the dunes" my wife has pulled rank and i have missed a few

  8. This months full moon has a special name. Find out what it is. I love talking about our solar system and galaxy. It makes for interesting conversation around the camp fire. Did you know that when ever it is a full moon it would be “noon” on the moon? Because the sun and earth are opposite each other and the earth is in the middle

share an interesting fact you know about our solar system and galaxy

  9. Have 23 people over. Some kids even brought co workers. Table is set for a massive feast. Son in law was playing around with excavator and dropped a massive 4’ diameter oak tree stump from 20 feet high. (With my grandson in the cab who absolutely loves excavators) it completely soaked the two of them.  We give thanks for all our many blessings each day, God is great and is in every aspect of ours lives on a daily basis.
