  1. I've had several drivers work for me over the years. Two years ago I realized the best employee I could find was living in my house. Known him for 19 years, trainable, already on my medical and car insurance, needs a roof over his head,  kinda scared of me. Been pretty good so far.

Seriously, I'd hate to have to hire someone for my business right now. Good luck man.

  2. When I was racing we had two solvent tanks in the shop, one for 'dirty' parts one for 'clean' parts. We used mineral spirts until CA outlawed the good stuff and whenever we were in AZ or NV we'd  buy two 5 gallon pails. So dumb. Can't tell you how many generators I've 'smuggled'into CA for friends/clients in the past 2 years.

  3. @MacI have two solvent tank/pump set ups if you haven't already bought one. One if a full size from a standard auto shop and the other is a brand new compact unit on a rolling stand. I'll be in Havasu for Memorial Day week and can deliver. Let me know and I'll dig them out and get some pics and measurements.

Mineral spirits is really good. But I use old gasoline/diesel for CV's.

You aint lying!!! They are everywhere!

Waffle House is the only thing I miss about working on the Gulf Coast for 6 months a year in my late 20's. That weather can eat my d!ck. Actually had legit trench rot on my feet in Pascagoula Mississippi once. Not fun.

Be safe brother. Great group of guys to ride with.

  7. Got a call yesterday about a boat transport from Oklahoma to Phoenix and the guy said he needs to wait till the tornado clears before he can commit to booking the job. First time I've heard that. Then I see this thread. Dude wasn't kidding.

Seth is living good! Working and living OC. That guy is a jack of all trades! Easy going and cool to hang out with.

He hit me up about low n slow pork butts, sent a screen shot to my Son, he said is that THE Seth Enslow?! Yup. Haha

Good to hear that with everything he put his body through for our (and mostly his) entertainment he's still able to ride a Harley 8000+ miles.

rock lights used to be a useful thing when rock crawling at night now they have turned into cock lights.  Where every corksoaker has them just for look at me purposes.

Yep. We used them on all four corners of the Class 1 car for changing flats at night. Zero interest to have them on my car. LED whip is enough.

  10. Hopefully he will tell his side and be truthful about it. Stifled/pushed out by Fox for the J6 tapes, running for office 2024, part of the settlement with Dominion. The left will claim victory regardless of the actual reason or reasons.

  11. Harmon Racing in Corona, around the corner from Kartek.

Best thing to do is make the fuel cell from cardboard and send it to them. They'll make the shell and then the bladder. I've done this numerous times.

  12. No entourage which speaks volumes, rides street bikes, shoots at a competitive level. Most importantly keeps his political opinion to himself, as far as I know. That make him a solid dude. Also believe he's not woke, or at least keeps it to himself.

That is not regular diesel, its bio-diesel. I'm talking about regular old diesel made from crude  oil.

Renewable Diesel is diesel fuel that is made from 100% renewable sources (vegetable oils and fats) that undergo chemical processing to make renewable diesel fuel. Fully compatible with all diesel engines, drivers can seamlessly switch between CARB diesel and renewable diesel without any engine modifications.

I understand what diesel is. I was a console operator and worked at the Tesoro oil refinery in Wilmington, CA from 2012 to 2018. My unit made 40k barrels of diesel per day.

The trailer haulers for the RV's went from Dodge to Ford to chevy, back to dodge... they were putting 500k+ on their trucks....when you use them they go, it's the sitting that kills them.

Because of our business my son follows a lot of hot shot guys and checks what the industry is up to. He always wondered why more guys didn't use Duramax trucks and seemd to be Dodge favored. He figured it's because the tow rating on a Silversdo 3500HD was well below a Dodge or a Ford.  Plus to get into a 4500/5500 in a Chevy it's now a Topkick or Kodiac. Dodge and Ford are different. Chevy finally raised the rated towing capacity and my son and I are seeing more Silverado 3500HD's on the road lately pulling gooseneck flatbeds.

The Hot Shot trucking business is hurting big time. It boomed during Covid and lots of guys jumped into it. Supplies are getting back to normal levels so less need to hot shot materials now.
