All good and valid information above. When I went up with family and friends we stayed at IDRV and Egin Lake campground. Egin Lake is a BLM campground and was “first come first served” when we were there. It might be different now, but I liked  it because it was the closest location to the good dunes since we had more butts than seats on that trip.

It all who you know, 5 years ago you could call sandcrab and he would close down the spots you wanted before you got there, I think he did that for all GD members,

IDRV has Helicopter rides now... That's some cool stuff.

Justin Farmer owner of SCU my next door neighbor did a Helicopter ride there, and said it was super cool, flew out to dead horse and to the other side of the dunes,

They have a Fancy Steak House also called the Sizzler in Idaho Falls LOL

Seriously we had family fly into Idaho Falls about 20 min drive,  or even thought about driving up by myself and flying the family in so i can relax on the drive up,

  5. Rbb is cool if it is you and maybe a big family,  I really love staying at the Camp Ground, even when we go with a small group, it is fun to walk around and meet new people and talk with everyone,

If the spots fill up quick, the overflow is super nice,  you can pull water from the stream or run it from a hose bib, to fill the tanks, and have the truck empty the tanks once  twice a week,  last time i stayed in the overflow in the trees, and pretty much had both campsite crews in our camp all week due to all the shade we had,  and ran the honda to charge the batteries,  did not need AC at night just had the windows open,  and most days we left at 6am for Yellowstone and got back around 9pm,  Was so busy in Jackson we left at 10am and made it back at 1am in the morning,   Jackson Hole was my Favorite part of the trip, even over the sand,  Was a Amazing time,   I dont really drink that much so the Saddle bar with a double shot of Jack, I almost fell off the saddle, then hit Wyoming Whiskey, then off to the Tequila tasting across the street.

Also non Eth Fuel is not good for some motors,  In our LS motors we build it will Destroy the Cylinder Walls due to the Hi Cylinder temperatures and make the water temp run hotter,  for our motors i recommend staying away from it,

  6. It does get warm up in Idaho,  we went the week before 4th of July it was nice,  and 4th of July can get crowded in Yellow stone so later in the month should be nice because some are back in school

My favorite, part is Jackson Hole and a must is to the top of the ski resort, can see over the valley,  Teton park is right next to Jackson,

If you have Kids Bear World is nice for a couple of hours,

In town on the main road,  is a Harbor Freight Next to a Cal-Ranch, next to Albertsons,  one stop parking lot,

Cheaper to rent a car in St Anthonys,  Later in July is a lot nice for River Rafting down the Yellowstone river,

Duning is a lot like Dumont Dunes,  Tall Dunes with Razors,  if you dune at Dumont pretty much the same,  if you only go to Glamis, then pay attention, duning is very different,

Stayed at both Sandhills and Idaho Dunes RV,   Depends what you want out of the Trip,

Sandhills is nicer for the kids, kind of tight camping but a lot of trees and grass,  Farther away from the Dunes and Farther away from town,   We like to Dune to the Lake Everyday, so for my Idaho Dunes RV is nicer for me,  I like a lot of room to park everything,

    • Idaho Dunes RV has full hook up, and part hook up
    • full is on a concrete pad and is really tight, to your neighbor
    • partial has no sewer, but the mobile sewer guy is there every day, cost is about $50.
    • Also I like staying in the overflow at Idaho Dunes RV,  Overflow is no Res, and is 40 acres and a lot of trees and can back up to the stream
    • Gen needs to be off in the over flow, because you are in a residential neighborhood.

    Drive up,

we leave from Vegas,  and just want to get out of town,  so we stary next to Zion or Sand-Hallow, have also stayed next to the Freeway in Cedar City, Right off the Freeway is Orchards Kolob RV Resort,  super easy to get in and out,

We stayed on the way up  past Salt Lake  in Tremont at Aspen Grove RV,  Super Nice and Large,  Then off to Idaho

    Drive Down

First stop, stay every time, they treat you like family,  is Rollin Home RV park,

When we go to Idaho we are so busy i think out of the full week we only use half the Fuel as we do at Dumont,  endless out door, Henery's fork also has fly fishing,

    Novak or Tekin…? :classic_ninja:

RC-10 with a Novak got you into the top 5 over the rheostat arm controller,  but if you wanted to place in the top 3 then it was a JRX-2 with a Tekin,

  9. When one paddle tire for my car is now $1250 or a barrel of fuel is $700

I think i am going to buy the 40th RC-10 and keep it on the shelf next to my Mint 400 collection,

Pretty cheap price to remember some of the most innocent time of my life.

Can my Can Am "Identify " as a buggy?

    :lmao:

    J/K

    Have fun all.

People bring all kind of stuff to the roundup,

They ask that on the large group rides that the SXS stay at the back with the kids, or stay in camp

but at the end of the day, it is fun for everything,

Dumont has the most to offer,

Really no Leo,  but the Leo that do come out are super cool will hang out in camp talking about the dunes,  you will only see them on Halloween, Prez, and Thanksgiving,

I think we’re gonna check this out. Is it hard to find the camping area for the event?

Dumont camping is like a huge Flat area,  size of say a large Dry lake,

One big camp area, 3 miles by 3 hundred yards,

More it rains the harder the camp area gets,   stay on the 1.5'' rocks and it is like concrete, no rocks on the ground then that means it is soft sand,
