  1. the story I read was.....

leader came to that ledge and two people were standing there at the bottom "blind spot"
leader swerved to not hit them, rolled
#2 was to close to and also swerved, rolled on to #1
    #3 same
    #4 same
    #5 same
    #6-10 all made the stop

What I can't comprehend after #2 how did #3-5 not see this happening in front of you, the speed at which this happens can be quick but seriously 5 rigs going that fast????

  2. Helping my in laws sell there motorhome, I can help be the middle man if needed. They are tired of the storage expense and replacing catalytic converters due to theft in storage.

never been but my group has been talking about going.

in rzr's do you think we can make it from the washes without bringing extra gas? no gas cans in the rzr we all know how that ends.

yes we did it in Rhinos back in 2005, no extra gas needed.

It's only 26-30 miles max one way

  4. Up in central valley we have a lot too. They love me long time....
We have those grey/black with a stripe and something even smaller! All ankle bitters - no-see-ums, awful.....

None of the sprays OFF or yard stuff works around here, as all the neighbor hoods have SUMPs for gutter run off. They are all over, you can't control the skeeters with all the standing mud holes and farm water.

The girls all swear by this cream, but doesn't work for me.

  5. well this went in a completely different direction then I thought....

I was sure she was gonna be a zonnie, cuz F the heat I got this. AZ lizard people are rad!

and..... I would 100% do what she did, sit in the heat at 102 with a ACd waiting room, I'm not a pansy a$$
I drive round town at 105 with the windows down, cuz I was raised that way. Car/Truck ACs work great, wife hates when I don't automatically full blast the AC...

  6. I've got a 40k gallon pool square with a fiberglassed retro over the original gunnite, so it's super SLICK!

up here in the central valley the dust is so bad we have to run the cleaner 4hrs a day or there's mud, plus my neighbors all have big leaved trees that drop tons of shiat in the pool

started with this Zodiac G3 and really liked it until maintenance was to often
cleaned the dust/mud great and climbed the slick walls with ease
problem 1 was the suction valve getting clogged with leaves or rocks
problem 2 was the suction valve splitting and needing replacements, then that ramped up from once a year to 4 times a year and we switched cleaners
the big disc lasted about 3yrs before needing replacement, but there is also some odd pieces inside that had to be replaced
overall CHEAP to use and easy to get parts

Now we have the Hayward Auqanaut
cleans pretty good, but the crazy twists and turns from the mechanics can leave dust/mud spots all over the pool so you see the tracks it took even after 4hrs of cleaning
climbs the slick walls pretty good
took a while to get the valves set enough for the 11-14 revolutions a minute, and doesn't always climb to top water line, looses suction and falls
so far maintenance was been new rubber wheels every spring, they breakdown from dark blue to light blue white and need to be replaced
overall does a GOOD job not great and so far parts are easy to find

  7. ISDRA/BLM/Fed, do not control registration or green/red months that's CA and the ISDRA/BLM/Fed have to follow the CA rules for violations in that regard.

All I'm trying to figure out is if my friends with AZ plates are good to go or will they have to buy the $30-50 yearly pass for two days of riding. Likelihood of even seeing a LEO is 2% but ya never want to find out the hard way.

AZ has 3 different ways to register an OHV
#1 straight OHV, just like CA green sticker and is not plated or "street legal". This is how my friends quads are registered and 100% need the out-of-state tags.
#2 is street legal but limited to direct to trail highway driving. This may be 50:50 get the out-of-state tags, this is what they have.
    #3 FULL street legal OHV.

I totally understand that $30-50 is ridiculous to consider/argue about, but my friends do not want to buy the visitor pass.... for two trips.

  8. Help me read between the lines, as they are kinda blurry

https://ohv.parks.ca.gov/pages/1234/files/Red Sticker Season Out of State Plates 2020 final.pdf

The way I read this is, if you have an "out of state - street plated AZ-UT etc..." anything OHV you can ride all year in CA without an non-resident out of state ohv sticker. They blur the lines between green/red in the examples.

This will be super handy for my friends in AZ who are plated and come to CA OHV once or twice. I'm gonna print it and have them put in the glove box for just in case the LEO's give chase for stickers.

  9. for something that has been sitting in a field that long, chances of "the rightful owner" seeing the posted bond and contesting it are slim to none

If this were a running/driving rig in someones driveway with no title then, ya it could be hot and a search in progress

I totally snach that up and not even care, post a bond title and move forward
