it is hot in Aug.   I am going in two weeks.  one of my fav times.  not too hot yet and nights are cool.

show low is up north and very small town not much up there but beautiful. Serra Vista is south of Tucson and way to close to the border for me. Sh$t hole comes to mind thinking of Serra Vista and a Army base is there too.

I have lived in Orange County CA for 3 years (HB, La Habra and Garden Grove), and the Phoenix area all other adult years, besides 5 childhood years in St. Louis.

I still like CA very much, and I wouldn't mind living there (in outlying affordable areas), but my wife would not be happy away from family.

I have lived in North Phoenix, Tempe, Mesa, Glendale, Surprise and Peoria.  To me, present day northwest Peoria is the best.

Regarding the overall Phoenix area, the traffic has gotten much worse, but I'm assuming that LA/OC has also gotten much worse since I was last there in 2011.  In Phoenix you need to know your streets and good areas vs bad areas.

Since I love the heat, one thing to really enjoy in the Phoenix Metro area is all the mountain hiking trails.  A whole bunch of new trails have sprung up in the north all the way from east to west, but the older classics like Camelback and Pinnacle Peak are still good.

Outside of Phoenix, that's where I'm very different than the Californians who can afford the prime areas like Havasu, Prescott and Sedona.  Since I'm nearing retirement (maybe), the places I'm thinking about for either full or part-time living are Quartzsite, Superior, Globe, Cordes Lakes, and Kingman.  If anyone has pro/con comments on those 5 cities/towns, I'd like to read them.

yep just bring some receipts and once you get the level 2 inspection you need to hit DMV and get a vin tag and title.

I wouldn't think you have to worry about bump steer with only 3.5" of travel and on a road truck or car I dont think you would have to worry about it.  Not like it is going to be cycling though the suspension.

2 mil in queen creek WOW.  landscape and block wall would be another 300k plus a paver driveway for another 60k, and only 3200sq.  someone will loose there butt on that one.

majic number is 5 employees for a company plan.  I got one for 3 of use on Banner/Antna

The ones we use have 5 band aggregation so they work really well.

the Routers I have WILL PERFORM way better than just a Verizon wifi hotspot.  I am going to use the sim out of the Visible in my router.  I know they kick butt with ATT and they work much better for Tmobile.  Verizon is my last test to see what it the best.  I should be out there most of the month in Nov so I can test when super busy out there. Otherwise Winegard Now has a mobile Starlink antenna.  From what I have heard it uses Startlink Pro or upgraded antenna for better bandwidth and approved to use in motion.
