That's fun and all but the reality of access to free range, happy pigs is extremely limited.  Just like local grown, non GMO, hippie picked veggies and fruit can never feed the masses or supply industrial process plants for other food items ingredients.

If everyone started to go to your "local farmer/butcher", they'd be out-of stock tonight.  Theyd never be able to fill supply nor have the ability to do it.

Small towns and communities could theoretically do it, assuming EVERYONE in that community was on board.

True. But, I don’t think they’re going from 1” extra space cages to happy pigs in the field…

Still don’t like the govt making things happen. We The People, dumb as we are, voted this guy in.

If I had read the transcript I would swear it was my Ex-wife in the passenger seat.

I am so grateful my wide doesn't go to the dunes and ride with me. This is a perfect representation of how it would be. LMAO!

Generic response for any complaints from passengers (especially wives) is throughout the video:

    Shaddup.

Please record it so we can also "learn" from your experience.

  3. While I generally dislike our government...

The conditions meat pigs are usually raised in is deplorable.  Not so much that I care about the pig's mental anguish, but more because it's F-ing disgusting and mitigated by all manner of chemicals.  There's a reason guys like @wash11 have been able to carve out a good living farming the way you're supposed to.  I'll gladly pay extra to a local co-op than buy from some meat factory.

Looking forward to this as I always do!

This year hopefully I'll be there really looking for something new to put back in my trailer.

    I won't be buying at the SSSS, well...not a sxs but beer(s) yes, swag....yeah. Maybe some shirts or a hat...I don't know.

    :dunno:

Working on a buddy's buggy with his angle grinder (no guard) ruined my GD.com T-shirt when the wheel grabbed it.  Definitely picking up a replacement.

  5. Try some caddy horns from the junkyard. Not as loud, but definitely gets everyone’s attention. Less than $20 and just plug into existing wiring

Running a set on the Jeep. People staring at their phones at green lights drop/throw the phone about a third of the time, which is about the perfect level of obnoxiousness without guaranteed fisticuffs.

If I had to prep and tow for each trip I wouldn't be going very often.  Now I have it so that I can go from lets go to the dunes to out the door on my way to GDS is under an hour. This year my goal is under 20 minutes from parking the work truck to wheels up in the Ford.

    Please take video of this.

If this is for your car, you can recharge it yourself for dirt cheap.

Yep. You can rent a manifold setup from O’Reilly or wherever and charge easily.

Kirk’s Radiator on Magnolia next to Gillespie Field. I can’t say enough about the good, honest work they have done for me.

They were great. Replacement lines were $300 on a car I had back in the day, they re-tubed the original ones for $50 for me a decade or so ago.

    Fixed it for you.

We need to get away form this "government funded". It's ALL TAX PAYER FUNDED!  These f*ckers just spend, spend, spend our money with not a care or control in the world.

Ayep.  Just because there isn't an obvious cost, doesn't mean you didn't pay for it.

Which is fine, so long as We, The People, continue to have a say.  Those days are getting numbered or are already dead.

    A few thoughts.

1). If it were really saving lives it would COST.  Are cancer treatments free? Are they giving away free raffle tickets for vacations if you get your cancer treatments?

2). Dr's are being censored. Why?

3). Why did George Soros and Bill gates just purchase a Covid test making company?

4).  There have been 40+ thousand deaths from the vaccine to date.

Does the government and those who support this shot really care about others lives? That's what this is all about right? "HEY PUT YOUR MASK ON YOU MIGHT KILL SOMEONE!!". Right?  What about all of the policies and laws that have been implemented that promote suicide, crime, homelessness, etc. etc. etc......

The virus is real. It does kill people. But in no way is it as dangerous as THEY would have you believe. You are more than 50% times likely to die in a car accident than from Covid. In fact  95% of all "Covid" deaths are accompanied with at least 4 comorbidities. Are they asking us to stop driving because we might kills someone?

If you get Covid you have a 99% chance of survival. if you get the vaccine you can still get Covid and you STILL have a 99% chance of survival.

This is global warming, global cooling, holy ozone, climate change, polar caps melting, seas rising but now it's connected to YOU!  This is a machine producing huge profits and political control.  I don't even believe that THEY in power know what they are doing but in the end the goal is for all of us to bow down to the government in fear for our lives and hand over our God given inalienable rights.

"Give me liberty or give me death"  - Patrick Henry

"Oh please save us dear government - take whatever you want. And PLEASE don't silence or shame me" - Today's society.

    WAKE UP PEOPLE.

It does cost.  It was funded by congress/EO under the Covid bills.  Check out Pfizer/Moderna/J&J stock since March-ish.

  10. I have a Makita 1/4" hex driver.  Breaks loose just about anything 14mm or 9/16s and smaller unless there's a problem.  Use it ALL THE DAMNED TIME.  Love the tool, and even my dad has been converted from "batteries suck" to continually buying more and more 18v tools.

Milwaukee has an M18 1/4" brushless:

  11. Since you guys on the surface of the sun...

Consider your workspaces in relation to the door.  If they're close to the door and it's open a lot to cool things off (relatively speaking of course), the fixtures above the door will be blocked and will need some downcast wall lights to make up for it.
