Polish and seal will only look good on new concrete. If you have oil stains now, you will have polished and sealed in stains after.

Make sure you have ALL the caution tape as well.

It wasn't raising a header for a garage, but I recently had my standard 72" sliding patio door replaced with 17' 4 panel slider. What the did was build a temporary wall inside the house just longer than the door was wide to hold the roof up. Then cut out the old headers, plural because the new door also took out a piece of the wall where a 96" window was, and installed new studs and header.

@Poule43 That's great. I almost bought that car after Chad sold it. The owner after him did some changes and I called Chad to talk about the car.
Great to hear his voice!
Sad to hear. Only met with Chad a few times. Always while helping with engine issues on the black car. I really like that ride.
RIP bud..

While searching for a shop to do the LS swap on my brothers C-10 I was kinda surprised to find the shops had relatively low rates, under $100. This was at full custom hot rod type shops. Didn't matter whether it was fab or mechanical. I had some work done to my TBSS recently in PHX and Vegas, they were both around $100/hr.

Any idea how this compare to the C6 'vette pan?

I can't think of a single friend that hasn't moved at least once in the past 10 years.
Myself being the exception. LOL

I just figured the the banks would start extended out the terms at some point. It is already pretty crazy they offer 20 year loans, when most keep an RV 5 -10 years.
How often do people move?

Make sure you jack up the front end before you do it.
Yes. By the frame/sub frame, not the lower arm, or the skid plate..

Werd, I actually should put a small lift up front, they do rub sometimes, just haven't gotten around to it.
You could just crank the torsion keys up a bit. It's free...

I'll check out the free charging station in the off-site parking structure at work, which is a 10 minute walk from my office each way. Not bad, but it's Boyle Heights in East LA and not a place for a guy like me to be on the streets at 9:30 pm and again at 5:30 am. The things I'll do to live green and save the planet...
What?! Wikipedia makes it sound like a great place to visit.
Boyle Heights, historically known as Paredón Blanco,is a notable and historic Chicano/Mexican-American neighborhood in Los Angeles, California, located east of the Los Angeles River. Boyle Heights is known as a bastion of Chicano culture, hosting cultural landmarks like Mariachi Plaza and events like the annual Día de los Muertos celebrations.

Gotta make sure that while stuffing the largest possible tire under it that the rear duals compress together when you tighten the lug nuts. More flotation, and no chaffing if they can't move...

Any transfer of energy consumes some. It takes more power to pump water up a hill than you get back in its return down.
We don't have a perpetual motion machine yet...

....he is a bright guy....aren't all the bright guys "touched".
My neighbor just got this entire roof / solar / wall panel setup a few weeks ago. I swear it took more then 2 weeks for a 2200 sq foot house.
The black panels look weird to me, no birds land on it anymore...I can see the heat sizzle of it in the afternoons. I could no doubt fry an egg on it.
He also has a Tesla...maybe i'll go drink his beer and listen to how great it is next time he is in the garage.
Two fold bonus. No more F'n pigeons, and the heat load is no longer on his roof.
Solar power stuff is a bonus.

What he said and your to slow to understand is your lights out in under 10, if you can realize your in a choke hold, stick your hand in your pocket grab a lighter pull it out light it and hold it for 1.2 seconds in less then 10 seconds total your probably enough of a bad ass to not get yourself in said choke hold.
But in your case I would carry a lighter in both the left and right front pocket.
Don't forget both front pockets in your flannel.

The lighter trick only took 1.2 seconds. Yes, I believe she got shiny new silver bracelets an her own holding cell. I hope she has a good lawyer!
A legit choke hold takes less than 10 seconds to lights out. Most would fumble around with the fight long before lighter would be thought of.
Carry a knife, stab them in the Femoral. They'll be too busy dying to worry about you.

My neighbor had a 66 with a small block and a 4 speed. When he retired he went and bought a 2006. He said he can't even drive the 66 any more, because the 06 is just SOO much better in every way. After much debate, he sold the 66 a couple of months later.
Did he have to conjure up Einstein from the dead to figure out that 40 years of tech innovation might make HUGE differences in a car?
