  1. I like the idea of keeping it as close to a Gen 4 as possible.  Something different.  Those brown seats look really familiar.  Got plans for the 2D?  My son just bought an older Tatum Sand Demon with an 091.  Looking to upgrde after this season.

  2. Always appreciated street fights videos. Haven't thrown hands in a long time until last night when I was in a bar fight. Actually a parking lot fight. Humbling to say the least. Wish there was video so I could see how it started and how I really did. Left shoulder has been killing me all day.

  3. Never owned a 5th wheel myself but we've transported 20+ in the last 3 years with my son's 06 Silverado short bed on 35's, my 2014 Silverado SRW long bed (three different 45' trailers for 6k miles through 10 states). Both trucks shared a Curt Q24 slider. Never needed the slider on my son's short bed. 2021 dually has the puck system and I picked up a B&W Companion that driops right in. Really happy with that hitch, one man operation. The Curt needs two dudes if its fully assembled to.

I have half of a Companion if you can use it. Need to cut a hole in the bed or something, then there's a latch that is operated from the wheel well. Neighbor gave it to me but I'll never use it.

  4. Find a local DMV service. Surprisingly inexpensive and no CHP or DMV trip(s). Recently registered my new 2023 enclosed trailer, my '14 Silverado, an out of state OHV, and my son's 2021 Silverado all in one visit. I think it was around $100 fee. They're in Fontana so not close to you but the lady is very understanding and saved me a lot of money in registration and fees.

I probably would consider it but can't convince the wife to leave the quads behind so I'm stuck looking at mostly 24', which I cringe just thinking about it. Also thought backing the car in, or using a winch in my case (2d lol) is a must for the weight distribution and proper tongue weight? I know nothing lol

If the trailer is designed and built properly you shouldn't need to back the car in. We don't back in any of the cars we haul. For my personal enclosed I did back my heavy AF dunebuggy.com car in and checked the weight with a trailer scale. It only goes to 2000lbs and it was over that. So went back to pulling it straight in. I like 800-1000lbs tongue weight on anything we pull.

  6. Buy my 2023 Universal 20' enclosed and you won't need drive over fenders and can leave your paddles on with the 104" wide rear door.

I've transported Tatum's, Buckshot's, lots of Funco's, dunebuggy.com with Chevy Avalanche body, Extreme's and Racer's. So far not a single car has needed to 'drive' over the inner fenders or have loading tires installed.

We recently got the SP9100 for Jacob's truck.  I was looking in the install instructions (I know, shocker) and they now say in bold lettering to mount the power module in a vertical position.

Glad they did actually update the manual. Fortunately we caught mine before it was bad. My wiring guy saw the condensation/rust and called them. They explained it and he made my two new mounts vertical. Don't have any pics and my car is in storage.
