And lose those elections you will, and help elect more and more radical leftists. Thanks.

Dude... just come out and admit it... you are a leftist.

funny how these "in the middle" people try to sway things more left.

It is 2023!! everyone has access to contraceptives, they are free... people know how babies are made... it is not magic.  Grow up and have some damn responsibilities.

I'm a white knuckler in the wind with my class a. I've had that thing for 15 years and still not real comfortable driving it when it's windy. I spent over $6,500 in suspension, airbags, sway bars, front tire blowout system,etc..

    gasser or diesel?

  4. I hated towing with the gasser moho.  Thing handled like a death trap.  Went to the diesel pusher discovery, and things were in much better control.  Recently upgraded to a tag axle moho w/ more power... and it got even better.  So my towing experience has been improving over time.  Lesson learned, is to have more tow vehicle than you need, rather than the other way around.

another thing that helps, is try and not be in a hurry (hard for me to do on the way out to the dunes).  Drive home always sucks.

i would put it in once a week.  i wanted more scrubbing action.  i have some areas of the lower wall that just doesn't get clean with my 4 wheel "pool cleaner"  even with high vacuum.  Ill keep you posted

Keep us posted on how it works...

starting to debate on getting rid of my pool guy and doing it myself since service costs keep rising

My last one was a Barracuda G3 knock off ($130.00ish) and it lasted an amazingly long 3.5 years with out having to replace the diaphragm even once!! Wanted to replace with the same thing, but the guy couldn't get that anymore nor believed it lasted that long... So I got what he had that was similar this one does not have any wear parts except maybe the rubber ring (eventually), it has a plastic clacker that beats back and forth. It was about $150.00ish (on craigslist of course). It keeps up with the monsoon dust no problem and decent sized leaves that sink to the bottom. The picture is in 6' of water to show how clear my water stays. It goes up all the walls and I catch it on the seats occasionally. would only get stuck in one corner, but I now IMG_1643.jpg.338f25fc0f7c5abcc305cef79cc1e9c9.jpghave the psi. set just right and that hasn't happened for a while.

    my .02$

I had a couple of these over the years, and was having to replace the diaphragm way too often.

finally switched to "the pool cleaner" 2 wheel version and been running that for about a year.  According to my pool guy, they go through way less parts / repairs

  7. Blame politics and the state.

CA is doing nothing to prevent these fires from occurring.  We have massive fires every year now, sometimes several.  Also on the home side, they are seeing a lot of big claims from water damage due to plumbing failures.  I know everyone says they've never "had a claim" but your neighbor just had a 85K loss due to a slab leak.  It really wipes out the whole block as far as profitability goes

currently on auto insurance you will not see any rate increases (unless you got new violations / accidents) but expect auto insurance rates to go to the moon next year and the following.  the current insurance commissioner of the state of CA, is not allowing auto insurance carriers to take slight rate increases to keep up with the market.  This has caused many carriers to not want to write any new business in the state for a few months now, and will continue until after the election, until he allows the rate increases to pass, which will come raining in.  It's all political at this point. Nobody likes to hear it, but the insurance companies are losing money like crazy currently on auto insurance, with the inflation on parts, and situations going on with body shops etc.  Also, when was the last time you got on the freeway and didn't see an accident?

just some insider info on what to expect in the near future

  8. Douglas wheels with ITP paddles. Were used on a RZR 170. Not sure of the bolt pattern, the RZR DID have wheels spacers, so not sure if is factory bolt pattern or not. Not sure what else they can fit. Been sitting in the garage for years, definitely need to be cleaned off lol

  9. Just wanted to give a shoutout to gearone! cool to have a company actively involved in the sand community.  They posted up a discount code over the 4th... ordered some parts, received it quickly with a bunch of goodies.

have had them rebuild my steering rack, next up will be my hubs... happy to have a bunch of gearone products on my car with this kind of support / service

Yes both the 934 super cv and 934 empi cv will fit Gear One Centerboard hubs. Yes Gear one super CVs do last probably twice as long as the empi and the super CVs are the only choice for high horsepower heavy cars. I consider our cryo/ rem polish empi an awesome spare to keep in your trailer to get you through a weekend.

Thank you for the info! gonna order some CV's... I have your midboards on my car, and plan on servicing them soon (fingers crossed that bearings are all good) but what seals do I need to order for a best case scenario service?

  11. Problem is, most people who spend recklessly to begin with, never throttle back until it's too late.

tough times are coming, plan accordingly.  Also lots of opportunity ahead for those who have planned accordingly

I've always watched our spending to begin with, was never a fan of debt.... so we are still living life the way we have, but definitely paying attention to a it a little closer.  Less zipping around town for errands on a whim, and try to group it all into one trip.  Our girls play club soccer, so we usually have to eat out a lot during tournaments, but thankfully our go to spot is in n out... which is still the best value out there. Used to stop at Habit a lot, but that place has gone up in price, and down in quality so fast.  Hoping fuel prices taper down before desert season... but if not, still plan on doing the same number of trips, but will try to extend them all by a few days... since the RV will burn the same amount whether its a 3 day trip or 5 day trip.

  12. So weird that most industries haven't been able to get these issues sorted out by now

car manufacturers still dealing with chip shortage issues... yet there is no shortage of iphones or big screen TV's
