Thanks everyone - Sorry for the late reply but we have been swamped since the open house.

It was so great seeing you guys out there  I wish I saw more ...  and it looked like everyone had a good time.  We had close to 

400 people  and honestly the drawing was not fixed   But I am going get together some Open house discounts 

for GD members on top of the GD discount.

Personally, I like deals, so while I can't put them all up I am allowed to say EMPI is doing some $250 gift certificates   Crow is doing  some $50 off certificates, Rugged and ATC lights have some great discounts, and of GearOne always comes through ....

Jeff - Race Ready has so much history, but last couple years they lost their way - hopefully  we are on a better path. Got a place down here, always loved SD area  and its way closer to G   :-)

So here's the story ...

Bottom line -   I Bought a cool off road  dune and desert  race and play store in San Diego and I am taking it to the next level!

the longer version  -Some of you who know me, also know I have been building cars and engines  since I was teen and going to G religiously ever since.

I get asked a lot of Q's about whats best to buy and how certain things work and its always been because I think it's hard in certain areas to find a parts house for our type of specialized products that has knowledgeable staff and knows the parts they are selling and has used them

And IMO the San Diego area was really missing that especially for Duners. at least in the last few years...

Race Ready  is pretty well known in the area and has been around for 40 Years and that alone says something .... Bob Hummel who founded the company is one super knowledgeable guy when it comes to Baja and desert racing.  Race Ready was and IS a one stop for that crowd...  I am truly amazed that  I have met more Baja 500 and 1000 winners in the last couple months than I have ever (except Robbie Gordon I already met him a few times ..)

This adventure started when I got a call last fall from a friend saying Bob was looking to "mostly retire"  I knew Race Ready, I bought stuff there , So  I jumped at the chance to take what Race Ready had and "supercharge it"  (those who know me know I like boost!)  and so we struck a deal and Race Ready was Reborn a few miles from the one location in a bigger ~4,000 sq ft space and with Loads more product offerings and inventory including everything for UTVs and more and more Sand Car and UTV parts being added daily - and a new website by next month which I hope is the best in the business.  Bob is still around and his right hand man Mike is as well -  Mike really  knows everything that goes into a Class 11 to a Trophy trucks and knows every part number.

What you should care about :-)

Of course I set up a GD members discount program and you will be able to log into the new website and see that soon or just call in  - we are calling it the "Race Ready Winners Circle"  Just DM me and I'll out you on the list.   

We are also doing an open house on April 20th at the new Location ... There will be Food, giveaways, lots of race and sand cars ( and if you want to show off yours let me know)  we'll have some select innovative vendors attending and showing off their stuff  Like GearOne  that also supports the site

I have used ADP and Gusto - if you have a small number of employees Gusto is simple with a modern UI, great customer service and above all...  cheap.

If you need services like HR and workmans comp  ADP is better IMO

This is something I cannot believe and the word is 12 states including CA, OR and WA want to Follow this  - the constitution last time I looked says you are innocent until proven guilty.  Trump has not been convicted of anything except being better at everything than Old Joe.

I hate to say it these guys are right ... Aftermarket parts on SxS's  like street cars get valued out at 10% at best

Even Canned Hams are selling slow. My buddies super clean 2021  X3 turbo was loaded and he let it go for 23K between Halloween and TG and even at that 

he had it posted for 30K for 2 months and only got this guy because he wanted to trader him a Harley plus cash, luckily the guys Brother bought the harley

so he came up with the cash.  No one is handing over cash, too easy to go  -no money down and do payments -

I won't say that's new though.. back in  the day I had close to 30K in my Rhino and sold it for $6500

Well  ... its the daughters life, but at 18 I did crazy Sh&t  luckily none of it followed me (unfortunately not the Boogie nights kind, just car related, racing etc.)   ... For her i n 2023 ...OF will follow her, and it will affect her career if she ever decides to get one.  And marriage in the future.. about as successful as marrying a stripper thats about 3% success rate at least in CA  Once on the internet  - there forever  .. and its tough telling your kids you were a Ho ....

The stats on OF are interesting 1% make OVER 50M in their "career"  90% make 1-5M  before they quit or get into trouble, and most get into trouble or get out in  2-3 years  ---or go into making porn  - the remainder end up  no longer with us - look it up - its not pretty 

its only money - go for it!

We decorate and hand out candy, but the numbers have dwindled to less than 12 families - all on this or next block  - kinda sad its just us and one other family that decorates or hands out on this block

Friends a couple towns over in Manhattan Beach  get 400-500 kids (bused in from mostly Hawthorne and inglewood)
