    Jesus, 400 miles a day?

Guided, or just a bunch of "pros"?

10 day rally race. Started in Los Angeles, ended in LA. Everyone was on thier own and got the daily race notes each morning. The Baja part was 90% dirt (only on roads where you had to). Yes, there were some longggggg days in there.

580 miles. JR also does a 1400 mile run to Cabo if you want more. If you are bat chit crazy they just finished a 2500 mile loop that took 14 days.

I did a 4000 mile loop in my Raptor. Over 10 days. It was amazing but exhausting. Thats a lot of beers and tacos.

  4. @Dzrtrat1111 didn't you just put this together? Why did you sell it? I jsut finished my newer setup using the Garmin R10. I really enjoy being able to go hit balls whenever I want. I am using the E6 software. It only has 5 free courses. Software might be my next upgrade.

That was a great price, I am sure it sold quick. Hope ChEFF bought it :)

  5. I am 53 and own a small fire protection company. 3 years ago I was planning on retiring in 57 years. Business was good and I enjoyed working. But I don't know what happened to employees. It was like a light switch. All of a suddon there is no one to hire and the ones that do work.....well don't work. So I had my last 3 employees that where with me since I started the company. They (father and sons) wanted to move to Wisonson. I told them I would keep the company open as long as they were here but give me enough notice of when they plan on leaving. Jan of this year, they gave thier 6 month notice and left in June. I still would like to work around 3 more years to get the kids through college. But the workforce has changed so much, it jsut is not fun anymore. I have been around 80% retired this year. I plan on being 95% retired in 2024 and 100% done after that.

Now for retirement (at 80%), I thought I would be bored. Nope, there isn't enough time in the day, I have done more vacationing in the last year as I did in all the years of being a business owner. I don't know if I will run out of money before I die and I could be a walmart greeter when I am 75 but I am going to enjoy the time now, while I am younger and can still do dumb sh!t.

I am 2nd generation San Diego. I love it here. I do a lot of stuff and have lots of friends. I couldn't imagine leaving here. It has everything I do. BUT I am getting tired of the traffic, the city is cramming people in dense housing and it is only going to get worse. It is expensive. But I love the city, I am a beach person. We are talking about moving. But where?? Sd is the best. Florida is really the only option as we both want to stay near the water. I would like to buy a small condo here and then a house somewhere else. But a effing condo is $800+. If just doesn't make since and I don't ever see prices going down too much.

  6. @ChEFF I am going down the rabbit hole. I am already tired of the Optshot and I want to build a better simulator, more like @Dzrtrat1111. I only went a step up on the launch monitor. I bought a Garmin R10. I ordered the white hitting screen and side curtains. I don't know crap about projectors so I am researching that now.

My delemia is that I am doing this in the garage and I need it all to be able to fold up and put away easly so momma can still get the Bronco in the garage.

    I'll keep you posted.......

I built a simulator about 6 months ago and love having it! I used a Skytrak and also have TGC19 software that has 1000’s of course to play. Screen is 9x12.

I just finished my house build on the golf course in Arizona. It’s very peaceful, other than the 530 am wake up call from mowing the grass every other day. The 6 am golfer talking in-front of your windows how shitty his swing was to his buddy. All in all I would not change it for a thing. I have no HOA and a 1,300 sq ft garage, what more can a man ask for. My guess is the house would appraise for right around $425,000 in today’s market.

    Nice, where is that at?

I wouldn't live actually on the course, but golf course communities are nice.  I go entire weekends and only drive my golf cart.  Just because you live on the course doesn't mean you have access to the course, in most cases that is a no.  With being in a Golf cart community, it truly feels like you live on vacation all of the time.

For myself, when I want to go golfing (about once a week), I load up my cooler, throw everything into the golf cart and drive to the course, I haven't taken my truck to our golf course in years, love the simplicity.  Golf carts lower the blood pressure for sure, HAHA

Gotta love Canyon Lake. I remember, I picked up something from your house and that was the first time I had seen that community. I was like wholly fu*k who knew that place was there. LOL
