  1. Prepping for Glamis. Working on a few details on the car today. Hope to have it all serviced and loaded in the trailer by days end.  Tomorrow prep the trailer. Wrap up the inverter/charger wiring, go thru spares, emergency and first aid stuff. Trash old foods and load the basics.

You all have a great weekend and if your in the Huntington Beach area, enjoy the Pacific Airshow this weekend.

I thought The Goo got Gills car painted it Silver sold it to @Grease Monkey who named her the Bad Bitch and effed up and sold her

Bad biatcha was initially Sandy Prisam's car, then the goo bought it. Sold it to Jerry in Havasu, Then I bought it.   It was still in the Goo's name when I got it.

The car mentioned above is a different car.  I should have some photos of it.

  3. Been a longer road then planned.  But I will be picking up the car from Outfront today.   John's going to weigh the car for me as well which is always nice to know.   This 3.6/3.2L engine is making 711hp on my high boost setting.  My turbo is rated for 650hp and its putting out about all it can.   Plans to run the car for this season and there's a good chance I will just leave it as is.  I have 4 boost settings to play with from 450-711ish hp on E85.

Going to a bigger turbo has a down side and thats low end power.  I want the power now and honestly chasing more HP in this little car makes no sense.  Not that I didn't think about smaller twins, but I've got a season I'm looking forward too and hope to see y'all out there.

Shake down might happen in two weeks.  Fingers crossed I get all my other chit done.

Thanks for following along. Ill get some photos up in the next few days.

Rowley White Rv is the company selling and outfitting these Genesis toy haulers.  Great company who have sponsored Glamis Veterans as well.

  5. Seeing if anyone's got a set (2) laying around.

15 inch tires I can get for my rollers. Don't need to be anything special. Hold air and some tread would be great. Need to replace mine after the Dyno tore them up.

    Thanks in advance.

What if you had a set of dedicated forks and shortened them as much as you can but still clear the front of the trailer? It would or could move the lift point closer to the forklift which may help. My $.02

He wont have the turning radius.  Even with 4 ft forks it wont turn 90 deg. maybe 45 at best. I can pull mine into the back shop yard no problem but if i need to cut it hard its a set down and reposition the lift to do it.

i have a spare fork from my old 5k lift, if i had a tube welded on to the fork like you did on your set up do you think that would that be too much pressure on one fork?

I'm not to sure about welding to those forks.  They are harden steel and it may fatigue it.  Id find some rectangle steel stock and make it fit over both forks. Then weld the tube on the steel stock.

    Just my opinion.
