  1. My wife walks into the house after work yesterday telling me that her nephew had messaged that he loves widdling with the knife "we" gave him for xmas. He's 10,. :classic_cool::classic_ninja:

My wife does all the xmas shopping. :

In my mind I'm thinking she is doing a solid for my little bro.

I then asker her where the knife came from and how she chose it.  DIdn't ask me for guidance.

Her reply, "it was in a box on your work bench.  Since you hadn't opened it I figured it was one of the cheap ones you get, but it should be a good one, right?.."  My internal reply...WTF!!!!

Booger is I don't buy, nor really have cheap "give away" knives.  Nearly all my knives are Benchmade, a dozen or so.  If you're unfamiliar, intro knives are well above $100  None of the ones I buy are under $200..  She knows this  She has a couple mini-grips that she alternates to match her outfit daily.  I don't specifically remember buying this unit though.

I'm F'd on this one.  Can't ask to see it.  If it's one of my good ones I can't ask for it back, or to replace it...   Merry xmas buddy...lol

  2. You got lucky on the oil consumption.

Years ago...when I was still wrenching with Honda, the "acceptable" consumption rate per Honda was 1qt per 1k miles.  Yah, nuts.  Even more nuts when you consider that the typical Civic a the time only held 3.5qt and the oil change interval for EXTEME conditions was 3750 miles.  If you didn't check it, it would be OK to burn ALL of the oil prior to an oil change being due.  Granted, this was NEVER an issue, but is was in the documentation.....

    Hello Kraut n Rice

Thank you for the response. Sorry I'm so late getting back to you, I just got home from the hospital a few days ago from having emergency Diverticulitis surgery.

Yes, please let us know how it goes.

    Thank you again my friend.

Came out great.  I'll have to get the info from my wife.

i like the term wheel chair ramp for the left side of the hill. buggies need to stay on the right side which is more fun anyway. never made sense to me why a big hp long travel car would choose to take the "easy way"

    Smaller whoops.

Anyway, it's an amazing age we live in, it seems like every 14-30 year old has advanced degrees in political theory, medicine, philosophy, history AND have been race car drivers and builders for decades.  I just don't understand how our civilization and culture are degrading so quickly with all of these highly educated experts out there...

I typically lead our group and I pretty much drive up on the wheel as hard as I can go. And yes we do follow close. -Ironically we had just taken a break and were just planning on cruising over to see someone at pad 3.  I just plain ass mis read this rise as a roller and lawn darted it off a 16 to to 20 footer, no brakes no nothing no radio call just a sudden stop at the bottom. We were defiantly  a little tighter then at full speed so #2 called it on radio on his way to kissing my ass which caves  in my  exhaust. His son in #3 got it wooed up without hitting his dad. #4 did not have his radio on our channel cam over to a surprise tossed it sideways to avoid but clipped #3 and flipped  it on it’s lid.

called one of my shop kids and said bring me some parts and you’ve got a free ride the rest of the weekend.  Had it back together by 10 am Saturday and burned another drum of fuel.

Question is : Did I run out of talent or did  the shop need some service work :cheff:

    Only #5 came away unscathed?
