9 day trip. Lotta heat with shade and misters first part, lotta W and blowing sand second part with some rain for good measure. Escaped the W to Yuma last night for some Texas Roadhouse and another 30 gallons of fuel. A lotta riding in store today on fully reset dunes and then steak night tonight, a lotta riding tomorrow in store for us and finally pulling out Wednesday.

Saturday we noticed the flag had been damaged by fire (different thread for that discussion) and needed to be replaced - most everyone besides us and BigE were planning to pull out asap Sunday morning and get out of the W and back to work but they all delayed their departure and got down with a flag replacement effort Sunday in the blowing sand and whites out dunes. Can’t thank everyone enough

  2. Was watching the First Round NCAA Wrestling Championships Thursday Night in the Lounge Chair at the Dream Home. I'm a Huge wrestling fan. My buddies were there. His brother lives in (Kansas City, MO) Decided to start up "The Beast" and head that way Friday morning. T-Mobile Arena. Yes, there is NO parking for an RV in Downtown KC. The Federal Building Parking Lot was clearing out Friday afternoon. Gave me plenty of space. Except for the Roofing Crew Saturday Morning, it was very peaceful. Attended the Semi's session Friday night. Metal Round Saturday Morning and Finals Sat Night. The Semi's I sat next to the Mother of Trent Hilday who is the 197lb wrestler from NC State. The nerves / emotions of a mother in wait for her sons match was awesome. He won his Semi match 3-1 with the 3-time defending NCAA Champion Aaron Brooks from Penn State waiting for him in the Finals. He did great only losing 6-1. Brooks is a BAD DUDE btw. The Semi's and Metal Rounds were great matches. Fun Time Had by all Fans of this sport. Everyone was respectful good people. With my Cowboy Hat on I heard a lot of "HELLO SIR" Either I'm getting older or everyone is getting younger.

8-10 hour drive. "The Beast" is built for that kind of road trip. Coming home Sunday thru Kansas / OKLA / TX it was 30-40mph winds / rain the entire way. Can't express how good that Coach is in inclement weather. POWER / STABILITY! It's amazing how they build such HUGE Beautiful Coach's.  @ROBERT L if you find time, can you fix these Darn head bender pics? The streets of K.C. and the Largest "REACH" Crane I've ever seen in action. Great time. Most Fly by the Seat of your Pants trip works out to be the best ones. Only negative to those Road Trips...............Dragging aiss at the office Monday morning. Luckily I'm not walking a ladder today. Another Bucket List scratched off.  Peace

No trip would be complete without stopping at the US Embassy at least once ( This is what my wife likes to call it )

There's no way KFC would allow this at home.
