First and foremost, thank you Rob for keeping the spirit with Glamisdunes.com.  I know it always hasn't been easy and there have been changes and challenge along the way.  Thank you for keeping anything GD.com related as open as possible and allowing people to share their voice.

So....social media forums that require admin approvals....GHAY!  Why have it?  Nick Farmer runs the GHAYEST sites that only serve drama and their friends.  Why make them public forums?  Ask a simple question about traffic...nope...no approval.  BUT...if you are an irresponsible parent and putting your new born at risk...no problem.  We can take a dozen of those posts and approve them right away.  Got b00bs?  no problem.  Got drama?  No problem.  Dude can suck a big fat one.

So..."Whips" can suck a big fat one too.  I'll keep GD as my desert forum and RiverDaves as my boating forum.  Just say no to ghay admins and ghay social media sites.

Favorite use for this guy is blowing water out of all the crevices in my car after washing

I have a brush hog, but this is great for hillsides. Like @Sausage450r says: no more worry about starting and plenty of power.

    And the next purchase:

I have a Viair for the Jeep, but a couple guys in camp have these and it’s the ultimate in convenience to air up a buggy tire real quick.

    Not impressed, I did it in a 65 Chevelle with a 327.

Drag racing an IROC who had better brakes than I did. So he slowed down quick but I went by the cop on the rev limiter in 2nd gear. There was a curve in the road and as soon as I couldn't see headlights there was a turn I killed my lights and grabbed parking brake and made a right. Looked in my rearview and there went the IROC with the cop lights on.

Mine was all caught on tape...

100%.  As soon as we get settled in, I'm replacing everything with Trex (and covering it all up).

I also want to use Trex around the pool and pool house.

Make sure they have a pool type one. It gets a little slippery when wet.

For theft your deductible is probally a lot lower then $1K I know If I hit somebody my deductible is $1K but when I got 3 flats in 2 years taking out three fenders on the dodge the tires were costing me more than the fenders, My deductible was $250.  Also I was worried about my rates going up and on that portion of the policy claims you make are not held against you. After all it was not your fault that they tried to steal it and damaged the car.

Oddly: petty theft is waaaaaay more likely these days than a collision...

Don't know if it correlates but I have noticed zero trucks available at the local dealerships with the exception of trucks with service bodies, there are PLENTY of those sitting on the lots...

Single cabs only from what I've seen.  Looking to buy another new truck.  Would prefer crew cab and no service bed since it's easier to get on base without a service bed.

@Punchdrunk Monkey and @Grease Monkey: maybe it's because they're single cab?

  7. But what about:

    Title 24

    Fire abatement fees

    Fire sprinkler system and inspection

    Fire compliance fees

    School board taxes

    Green energy compliance

    Earthquake standards

    Water/sewer taxes and compliance

    ??????

    Oh. Wrong state.

    Congrats!

Our roads are Crapty enough, no need for more potholes. Couple of 7.62 pods are more than enough... Hellfire potholes are large

^this whole experience sure sucked. One of these videos actually went viral and every keyboard warrior gave their opinion on things that were for far from actual truth. Pretty funny.

We had something similar.  One of those cheap Amazon MaxxTraxx things worked pretty well as a ski strapped to the trailing arm under the missing tire.  Probably gonna make one out of aluminum since it was a little lighter by the time we got it back to camp...

Yea, my property taxes will definitely increase. On another note, I'm also hearing nightmare stories regarding homeowners insurance when you're in a firezone which the house I'm looking at is in.

Currently insuring through Geico in the sticks.  A lot of the trick is steering the conversation to why your house isn't a gigantic fire bomb waiting to happen.  As long as there isn't a lot of federal land that can't be cleared, point out your defensible space, the neighbors' defensible space, likely firestorm origin (Santa Ana blows from NE), etc.  There were a number that initially refused, asked why, and then defeated these objections one at a time with the agent.
