Spindles are King Kong and the front end is a  stock Gen. 4. Has anyone had any issues running that size tire on a Funco?

i had a kingkong spindle break on mine with 33's  i drive hard, but decided to go to custom 2" hollows on my funco.  bigger diameter means more leverage and my car weighs 2200

I asked Grant the same thing re Gen 4

His reply

"That's an awful big tire"

I choose to stick with the 33's no problems.

Your mileage may vary.

I have not really seen the KingKong break the machined snout, mostly break out the weld, the weld area is about 1.750 in diameter, on a 2'' hollow the weld area is 3'' round,

a shaved 35'' is about 33'' tall so i dont think you will have a issue,  just will have to Crack check the spindles from time to time.

Whats the main purpose for running a bigger tire? you only got so much suspension up front. Never heard of the 33s not being big enough
