Had an '05 4x4 with a 6 speed manual.  Best truck I have ever owned.  Easy to maintain and is a work horse.  GLWTS.

Sorry, but want to be clear...  Does it have an exhaust brake?  Does it run off of pressure or vacuum?

Is the brake controller built into the truck?

Does the compressor for the airbags have a tank for tires & stuff like that?

Does that truck have a vacuum pump that runs the AC doors?

IMO, the 06 and 07 trucks are the best ones out there.

I agree unless you want a manual trans, then stick to '04.5 or '05 with HO CTD.

Is the brake controller built into the truck? Not from factory but yes a Hopkins

Does the compressor for the airbags have a tank for tires & stuff like that? No tank, direct to bags single controller. Yes you can unscrew the pump and run a line to the tires, just never did it.

Does that truck have a vacuum pump that runs the AC doors? No they are electric to my knowledge. The problem is the ears at the motors brake off. I bought the upgraded blend doors just never got around to installing them. The AC works fine just doesn’t allow full control from defrost to dash to floor. It kinda moves but not 100%

IMO, the 06 and 07 trucks are the best ones out there. Yep that’s the consensus

@Bobalos more pics to clarify.

I took the exhaust brake vacuum pump off when I changed the water pump last week. Haven’t towed in 5yrs, stopped working 2yrs ago. Without the vacuum pump you run the factory length belt. Around $250 for the exhaust brake vacuum pump. Long belt shown with pump.

gauge pod, air bag controller (switch stopped working so added the little round one) and the brake controller

:rant: "smoking deal".... Really I feel i've over priced it but also way under current covid/used prices, the right person with cash will get it. Nobody's gonna finance this and the trade-in value is horrible $8-10k (if that) especially when resale on a lot is $20k. Those guys are GOUGING the market, I'm just trying to offer a decent truck at the right price.

Honestly gonna regret selling it and buying new, but that's what the wife wants.... so :itsok:
